OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE
We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact. As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.
THE TEAM
Join our Private Dining and Banquets team, where we create exceptional experiences for weddings, corporate events, social celebrations, and special functions. Reporting to the Banquets Manager and working closely with the Banquet Captain, you will collaborate with banquet servers, captains, and hotel leadership to deliver seamless and memorable guest experiences.
YOUR ROLE
As a Banquets Bartender, you will play an important role in creating memorable event experiences through exceptional beverage service and genuine hospitality. You will prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation, and ensure responsible alcohol service while contributing to the smooth execution of every event.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE
Set up banquet bars according to event specifications and company standards. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, accurately, and with exceptional guest service. Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying guest age and adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies. Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar operations throughout events while monitoring inventory levels. Partner closely with banquet servers, captains, and management to ensure seamless event execution. Complete all opening and closing duties, including inventory, reporting, sanitation, and securing beverage storage areas.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
You have bartending experience in a hotel, banquet, restaurant, or event environment and enjoy delivering outstanding guest experiences. You possess strong knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic offerings. You hold, or are able to obtain, the required alcohol service certification and understand responsible beverage service practices. You communicate confidently with guests and colleagues and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling beverage inventories, cash transactions, and reporting responsibilities. You are flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and both indoor and outdoor events.
OUR BENEFITS
As part of our team, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work. This includes medical coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off, complimentary room nights, learning and development opportunities, global career opportunities, and industry-leading paid parental leave supporting eligible associates across all paths to parenthood.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
