Responsibilities

Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner; Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests; Act as cashier for the lounge; Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis; Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce; Maintain stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily; Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner; Promote and document orders for drinks; Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control; Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages; Input orders into a register at point of sale and create a check for each guest; Receive cash, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, ensure vouchers are properly executed; Balance all moneys; Lock up and store all beverage, food and other equipment items; Deposit cash drops and secure bank; Take and serve guest orders promptly according to service manual; Answer any guest questions about the menu; Clear dirty patio table settings and prepare table for resetting; Transport all dirty tableware from outside dining tables to dishwashing area; Promptly and consistently reset all serviceware; Serve guests with beverages to begin their patio dining experience and replenish as necessary; Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods; Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system; Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain appearance, temperature and portions; Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis; Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Must have the ability to communicate in English; Self-starting personality with an even disposition; Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times; Can communicate well with guests; Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player; Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking; Ability to lift at least 30 lbs; Craft Cocktail Knowledge is a must; ServSafe Alcohol Awareness required
