As Bartender at WATR, you will be responsible for crafting classic and creative alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. Creativity, knowledge of mixology, and excellent customer service skills help establish the operation’s reputation as a go-to destination for exceptional drinks.

Responsibilities

Crafting classic and creative alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages; Engaging with customers and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience; Maintaining a working knowledge of full food and drink menu while making recommendations; Creating a diverse range of handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages; Providing exceptional customer service; Efficiently and accurately taking and preparing drink orders; Demonstrating an extensive understanding of classic and contemporary mixology; Maintaining a clean and organized bar area; Adhering to safety and hygiene protocols; Upholding company policies and procedures; Properly serving wine and alcohol; Executing opening and closing procedures; Following cash handling and payment procedures; Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; Embodying the 1 Hotels Vision, Mission and Compass

Requirements

Prior bartending experience; Proficient in verbal and written English communication; Organized and proficient at multitasking; Reliable team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations; Strong communication and customer service skills; Able to lift at least 50 lbs; Able to stand for long periods of time; Food Handling certification (can be obtained during employment); Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
