Here is what you will be doing each day: As a Breakfast Cook, you would be responsible for preparation (mise en place), preparing food items, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling/storage of all food items in accordance with standards, participate in the development of menu items, and maintaining approved food costs. Responsibilities

Preparation (mise en place); preparing food items; ensuring quality preparation of all menu items; proper handling/storage of all food items; participating in development of menu items; maintaining approved food costs; maintaining compliance with departmental/hotel policies; establishing day's priorities; reviewing daily menu specials; reviewing banquet event orders; communicating clearly to team members; taking physical inventory; ensuring supplies received/stored/secured; meeting with Front of House Leadership; stocking kitchen work areas; preparing items following recipes and yield guides; maintaining quality and details; assisting Culinary Leadership with new menu items; training new hires; ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines; complying with attendance rules; performing other job-related duties

Requirements

Minimum 3 -4 years of Cook experience; passion for hospitality; excellent service execution; ability to lead a team; strong knowledge of culinary arts; thorough knowledge and understanding of the Kitchen and restaurant operations
