Bulk Packaging Operator T1

Job Summary: The Bulk Packaging Operator packages bulk gelatin capsules in accordance with packaging instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven Core Values such as sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Packages bulk gelatin capsules in accordance with packaging instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements; Maintain and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner; Perform regular quality in process checks; Disassemble, clean and re-assemble packaging equipment; Inspect gelatin capsules for defects; Accurately complete all necessary paperwork

Requirements

Ability to work with hands and keep up in a physically demanding environment; Inclination for keeping yourself and others safe while working in a fast-paced high-output setting; Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal; Strong mathematical, mechanical and troubleshooting skills; Ability to work in a team-based environment to effectively meet deadlines; Ability to learn and use company specific software, such as the Warehouse Management System; Must have ability to work in and create a team atmosphere; Capable of performing all job duties in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 11kgs and standing for extended periods; Excellent attention to detail and follows directions well; Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job; Legally entitled to work in the country in which this job is located

Nice to have

Experience packaging products; Previous experience with operation and setup of packaging equipment; Previous production and GMP experience; Minimum of one year of night shift work experience
