Business Analyst - Finance

As a Business/Solution Analyst – Finance in our Regional Hub/Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, you will have the opportunity to work within the Global IT Solutions team, assisting in the delivery of IT solutions that address business needs, including ERP implementations, and support for JOST/Hyva's global operations. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand internal processes, operations, and requirements, with a focus on business processes.

Responsibilities

Support the translation of business requirements into functional IT solutions within ERP and other applications; Assist as a contact point for global business process owners, facilitating communication to improve processes and satisfaction with IT services; Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution documentation, UAT, data migration, and go-live support; Help prepare and maintain project documentation for end-users and support teams, and contribute to reporting on project progress; Work alongside senior business analysts to validate solutions, conduct basic quality assurance tests, and ensure enhancements meet organizational requirements; Provide first-level support to business units, helping resolve operational issues, gather feedback and assist in user training; Participate in root cause analysis and suggest process improvements; Work closely with internal SMEs and vendors, and coordinate with other IT subdepartments; Manage training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams; Assist in the development of IT project plans and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely completion; Participate in change management processes by documenting, explaining, and reviewing requested changes

Requirements

Good understanding of ERP systems with at least 1-2 cycles of ERP implementation; Good problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data and assess business processes; Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills; Highly organized, with commitment to quality and accuracy in documentation and deliverables; Collaborative team player; Culturally sensitive and adaptable; Proactive attitude; Degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related fields; 1 – 3 years of experience in an ERP implementation role, preferably with consulting experience and exposure to ERP implementations; Relevant exposure to financial ERP processes such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Warehouse, Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash, Plan to Produce; Willingness to attend urgent issues outside official working hours and ability to travel as required; Fluent in English

Nice to have

Familiarity with systems such as Infor LN, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP; Experience in manufacturing highly preferred; Consulting experience; Mandarin language skills
