Business Application Administrator

The System Administrator role is to operate and maintain AFS Enterprise Applications with high availability and performance in a secured manner and is expected to provide predictable quality service in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain AFS Enterprise Applications with high availability and performance in a secured manner; Provide predictable quality service in a timely fashion; Application deployment and upgrade/patching activities, including planning, design, build, and test; Provide user support, troubleshoot and resolve systems issues independently or collaboratively with internal/external teams; Provide evidence to support auditing activities; Update existing or create new processes and procedures for improved quality and efficiency, reduced cost, and improved security; Patch Windows operating systems

Requirements

A minimum of two years of IT experience; A minimum of one year of demonstrable and recent experience as a System Administrator of an on-premise application; Efficient in using Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Visio) and proven experience in technical writing; Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills; Proven ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations; Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills; US Citizen

Nice to have

Working experience in PowerShell is highly preferred; Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM frameworks is preferred; Knowledge of Cloud Computing is preferred; Ability to function in a fast-paced high demand environment; Ability to learn new skills and research issues on their own when needed; Ability to work in a team of highly skilled technical resources; Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and provide sound solutions; Ability to develop strong professional relationships with fellow team members
