Business Application Support Engineer

Take ownership of reported application issues and production incidents. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system and application issues. Perform database troubleshooting and data analysis using SQL/PLSQL. Analyze application logs and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams. Log, prioritize, and follow up on incidents through ticketing systems. Follow up with clients to ensure issues are properly resolved. Prepare accurate reports and maintain technical documentation. Collaborate with Business, Operations, and Development teams to resolve application issues.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field; 2 to 5 years of experience in Application Support, Technical Support, or Production Support; Good knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and database troubleshooting; Experience in supporting business-critical applications in a production environment; Strong problem-solving and communication skills; Good command of written and spoken English

Nice to have

Previous experience in Microfinance, Consumer Finance, Banking/Financial Institutions, or FinTech is highly preferred; Experience with Loan Management Systems (LMS), Core Lending Systems, or other financial applications is a plus
