Business Development Manager

APM are looking for a Business Development Manager to build and maintain employer relationships in our Workforce Australia program, with the aim of placing participants into sustainable employment. Travel will be required across the Wivenhoe district from Indooroopilly to Ipswich, and in between, as required. Experience within the Employment Services sector is not essential, but it is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain employer relationships in the Workforce Australia program; Place participants into sustainable employment; Travel across the Wivenhoe district from Indooroopilly to Ipswich; Promote opportunities to internal Employment Consultants and Business Managers; Promote personal growth for participants; Develop and maintain employer and community networks; Work alongside Employment Consultants to place participants into suitable employment; Negotiate with employers to ensure success of job placements; Comply with compliance and database input requirements

Requirements

Eligible to work in Australia; Current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle; Willing to complete a Criminal History Check; Able to secure a Working with Children Safely Card; Able to secure a MyID to standard strength; Enthusiastic; Natural networker; Thrives in a collaborative environment
