Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across a portfolio of high end wholesaler and end user key accounts within the Foodservice channel across the major cities in the Midlands and North of England. Working closely with the National Account Managers as well as the wider Bridor sales and innovation team you will be responsible for developing successful and profitable relationships with existing customers including Michelin Star Restaurants, Hotel Groups, Coffee Shops and Wholesalers. In addition, this role will have a focus on developing new business opportunities within your region in line with the UK strategy.

Responsibilities

Driving profitable growth across a portfolio of high end wholesaler and end user key accounts within the Foodservice channel across the major cities in the Midlands and North of England; Working closely with the National Account Managers as well as the wider Bridor sales and innovation team; Developing successful and profitable relationships with existing customers including Michelin Star Restaurants, Hotel Groups, Coffee Shops and Wholesalers; Developing new business opportunities within the region in line with the UK strategy

Requirements

Proven track record and good understanding of developing sales and building strong customer relationships within the Foodservice, Wholesale and End user sector; Experience within food; Real passion for premium food products; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; Organised individual with drive, motivation and passion to achieve sales and thrive on over delivering against targets; Fully home based covering Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester and Derby

Nice to have

Exposure to high end hotel and restaurant establishments; Ability to work with both Buyers as well as Executive Chefs
