Business Operations Manager

We’re seeking a highly organized, hands-on Business Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence across the company. This person will sit at the intersection of business operations, project management, and execution. They will own high-priority managing security and technical initiatives, while also serving as a cross-functional member of the business operations team.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of ad hoc operational priorities and projects as they arise; Partner with internal teams including People, IT, Finance, Security, and Operations to support employee and business needs; Expertly project manage across teams on operational high-visibility, high-impact technical projects; Drive documentation, evidence collection, process improvements, and cross-functional follow-up related to compliance and business operations; Establish project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, timelines, and success criteria; Drive accountability across stakeholders and ensure deliverables stay on track; Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and proactively work to resolve them; Ensure projects are completed with a high degree of quality, attention to detail, and urgency

Requirements

4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, program management, strategy, management consulting, or a related field; Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to independently drive complex, cross-functional projects to completion; Strong organizational skills and an exceptional attention to detail; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a bias toward practical solutions and execution; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

Nice to have

Experience with GRC, SOC 2, compliance, or related risk and control frameworks; Experience working with GRC platforms, SOC 2 audits, security controls, or compliance programs; Experience in a startup, high-growth technology, fintech, or crypto environment; Security+ and PMP certifications
