Car Wash Attendant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available. Stand at the pay stations and assist every customer that comes through the wash. Field customer inquiries. Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel. Upkeep the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code. Duties and Job Breakdown Percentages: 70% Customer Interaction; 20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining); 5% Opening/Closing Procedures; 5% Basic/Light Troubleshooting of Daily Duties. Job Requirements: Excellent communication skills including active listening. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Ability to anticipate customer needs. Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers. Ability to work as a team. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system. Strong work ethic and professional attitude. EXPERIENCE: Customer service and some sales experience preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must be able to stand and walk throughout the workday, use hands; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; stoop, crouch and kneel, work in damp and humid conditions and outdoor variable weather conditions, lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs, exposed to noise. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: The team member must be capable of performing their responsibilities with minimal supervision.
