Care Assistant

Location: Buckley

Pay: £14 (weekdays) £14.50 (weekends) per hour

Shifts: Monday - Sunday, 8-hour days

Candidates must have a minimum of a level 2 NVQ, and be working towards a level 3 for this position.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a friendly and communicative Complex Care Assistant to support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care 24/7.

Responsibilities

Repositioning, mobility requirements and manual handling; Dual Jejunostomy and Gastrostomy Button for feeding and administering medication; Monitoring of skin and tissue viability; Complex Epilepsy and Dystonia, requiring rescue medication; Oxygen, suctioning and saturation monitoring; Respiratory requirements, interventions of bag and mask, oxygen and stimulation. This can be multiple times per day.; Physiotherapy progamme

Requirements

For this role, you would be required to have experience caring for children with complex requirements in a home care setting. Experience in respiratory management would be beneficial.; You must have a minimum of a level 2 NVQ, and be working towards a level 3 for this position.
