Care Assistant

Support Workers & Care Assistants Wanted – Join Our West London Team! At Sage Care (part of the CCH Group), every day is different. We are actively recruiting for compassionate Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our dedicated teams supporting service users across West London. Homecare is about helping vulnerable adults remain safe, happy, and independent in their own home. We are currently recruiting across Maida Vale, Kilburn, Chelsea, West Brompton, Westminster, Belgravia, Paddington, Queens Park, Hyde Park, Swiss Cottage, Primrose Hill, St Johns Wood, and Earls Court.

Responsibilities

Providing essential care and support in clients' homes following personalised care plans; Supporting with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming); Assisting with medication preparation and safe administration; Helping with mobility and using aids/equipment safely; Supporting rehabilitation after hospital stays; Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support; Carrying out light domestic duties (laundry, making beds, household tasks); Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships; Encouraging social inclusion and participation in hobbies, interests, and community activities; Promoting independence, dignity, and choice; Collecting prescriptions and medication reminders; Monitoring health and reporting changes; Providing emotional support; Accurate record keeping; Ensuring safety and responding to emergencies; Collaborating with colleagues, professionals, and families

Requirements

Compassion; Strong communication skills; Problem-solving skills; Commitment to respectful, high-quality care; Right to work in the UK; Willingness and ability to travel between clients within the local community; Availability to cover full-time or part-time shift patterns

Nice to have

At least 6 months of social care experience
