Care Assistant

Responsibilities

Providing personal care with dignity and respect – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming; Assisting with medication – preparation and administration; Helping with mobility and using aids/equipment safely; Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support; Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning; Offering companionship and reassurance; Encouraging social engagement and family connections; Monitoring health and reporting changes to healthcare professionals and family; Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided; Responding to emergencies safely and effectively; Working collaboratively with families and the wider care team

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence; Access to own reliable vehicle; Right to work in the UK; Compassion; Strong communication skills; Problem-solving skills; Commitment to respectful, high-quality care; Resilience; Eagerness to learn

Nice to have

At least 6 months of social care experience
