Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers; Create life-long customers by delivering a great experience that wows repeat customers; Follow the Mr. Handyman Way process; Communicate with customers to help them understand scope of work and costs; Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Document the job while following the process

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years' experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of: carpentry work, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting inside and out, drywall work minor and major repairs, general plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, floor installation and refurbishing, familiar with building codes; Culture alignment; Rockstars only; Bought into the vision; Self-manage; Speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools, including ability to use technology; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way process
