Case Admin Supervisor - Casualty Injury

DAC Beachcroft is looking to appoint a Case Administration Supervisor to join our Casualty Injury team in Birmingham. Our Casualty Injury team focuses on employers' liability and public liability claims, with claims valued up to £100k. This is your chance to work within a dynamic and supportive team (with full and supportive training provided), that handles a diverse range of EL/PL claims and making a real impact.

Responsibilities

Direct supervision and management of a small team of case administrators; Accountable for interim and performance reviews, including probation reviews; Absence management; Cascading and communicating information from senior management; Motivating and engaging the team and overseeing their well-being; Maintaining awareness of the firm's strategies and plans; Maintaining and developing technical knowledge through training and publications; Ensuring new joiners are adequately inducted and required training is delivered; Providing guidance and support to develop team and progress through the career framework; Monitoring team performance in regard to allocations, file set ups and trust balances; Ensuring files are set up and run proactively with deadlines met; Ensuring case admin work meets client and commercial requirements; Managing emerging risk or compliance issues; Effective allocation of work amongst the team; Raising and dealing with complaints or escalated risk and compliance issues

Requirements

Previous supervision experience; High level of personal compliance with client SLAs, protocols and KPIs; Good people management skills including ability to motivate, coach and mentor team members; IT literate with good working knowledge of Excel and Word; Strong prioritisation and organisation skills; Analytical skills; Interpersonal skills; Resilience; Aptitude to learn; Good oral and written communication skills
