Catering Server

Under the direction of the Catering Manager and Supervisor(s), is responsible for timely, efficient, accurate service for guests and their food and beverage experience.

Responsibilities

Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times; Reports for scheduled event on time and reports to assigned area in a timely manner; Fulfills opening and closing duties as dictated by management and supervisors; Maintains the highest level of professionalism and service while abiding by Legends’ handbook and service standards; Efficiently sets up, maintains, and breaks down for all functions; Is knowledgeable of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the stadium; Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and services offered; Abides by Legends Sequence of Service when interacting with guests; Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment; Communicates professionally with Supervisors and Management; Works as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within all areas of the stadium; Performs and successfully completes tasks assigned by management and supervisors; Responsible for retrieving product, smallwares, food and/or beverage for assigned location on event day

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old; Must be willing to work hours that vary according to the event schedule; Must be able to work at a fast pace; Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Must be willing to stand for long hours; CA Food Handlers Certification; CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification; Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times; Must be pleasant, polite, courteous, and enjoy working with people; Must be able to work in a team environment; Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations; Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service; Must be able to follow direction and accept responsibility for assigned tasks; Must be able to open and properly serve alcohol; Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision; Must be able to accept and carry out responsibility for directions; Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions; Able to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 40 lbs
