Certified Medical Laboratory Technician, Residency Clinic

Responsibilities

Ensures accuracy and timeliness of patient laboratory test results; Ensures quality of test results by following defined Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures; Ensures safety and compliance; Maintains appropriate education to accomplish work objectives and maintain current certifications as applicable; Ensures productive and efficient operations of the section and department; Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building

Requirements

MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required; Ability to listen and communicate effectively; Technical ability and interest; Basic computer skills

Nice to have

Associate's degree with experience preferred
