Chemical Production Operator- Weekend Nights

The primary purpose of this position is to load and unload bulk products, manufacture liquid products, and package finished products in non-bulk containers that meets the needs and quality of our customers. The hours for this position are Friday thru Sunday and every other Thursday 6:00pm-6:30am. Training will take place on 1st shift during the week for 2–4 months, but you’ll still receive the shift premium during that time.

Responsibilities

Load and unload bulk products; Manufacture liquid products; Package finished products in non-bulk containers; Inspect containers inside and out prior to filling; Clean reactors prior to manufacturing products; Use and wear prescribed safety equipment while filling and mixing; Ensure product meets all quality standards before leaving production area; Inspect tank trucks prior to loading and unloading; Review paperwork before loading or unloading; Review production schedules and batch records; Perform tote cleaning per procedure and maintain records; Perform weekly area inspections and complete logs; Attend all required training; Uphold Hydrite's Standard of Excellence; Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs; Participate in Emergency Response Team and training activities; Complete Maximo service requests for equipment needing repair

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office; Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English; Required to do a drug screening during the pre-employment process

Nice to have

Minimum of two years experience in chemical processing or other manufacturing industry
