Civil Engineer

You will be ensuring that all technical services are maintained operational during your shift duty. Taking charge of entire technical assets in building, managing engineering team and supporting the Property Manager / Assistant Property Manager your team leader for coordinating for technical issues with client and occupants. Business: Property and Asset Management, Gurgaon. Reporting to the Property Manager / Technical Manager, working with the operations team. Scheduled weekly hours: 48.

Responsibilities

Ensure all technical services are maintained operational during shift duty; Take charge of entire technical assets in building; Manage engineering team; Manage and maintain electromechanical / utilities services at the site with the help of technician team; Manage repairs and maintenance of site civil infrastructure including parking lots, sidewalks, curbs, and paving; Oversee stormwater management systems, catch basins, detention ponds, and drainage infrastructure; Coordinate utility repairs and upgrades (water, sewer, storm drainage, site electrical); Address pavement failures, settlement issues, and surface deterioration; Manage emergency repairs for infrastructure failures impacting building operations; Develop preventive maintenance programs for site civil systems; Conduct regular site inspections to check for risk / defect areas; Review work of subordinate staff and provide guidance; Document, check and follow up on assets under defect liability period and AMC/CAMC in a tracker; Maintain service level agreements and keep performance indicator scores above excellence; Ensure timely renewal of agreements, submission of invoices and follow-ups for payments; Oversee all vendor quotations and invoices; Ensure sign-offs for attendance and required details for cost sheet submission; Schedule monthly vendor meetings and ensure corrective actions are taken; Attend major complaints, escalate to senior and coordinate with technical staff if necessary; Ensure work permits are in place and safe working practices/procedures are followed; Assist in risk assessments, mitigation of inherent risks and root cause analysis of system failures and breakdowns; Create corrective, preventive and emergency response action plans; Maintain engineering and other reports such as DMR and MMR; Work closely with regional RO / HO / SME / Training teams and ensure closure of all required reports; Facilitate services under the slogan "No Safety No Work"

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Civil OR any equivalent; min 5-10 years of work experience in Real Estate/ Hotel or Construction Industry; Analytical and meticulous; Excellent problem-solving skills; Good knowledge of working procedures

Nice to have

Residential experience (preferred for residential sites); Deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology
