As a Civil Engineer within our Urban Development QLD team, you will focus on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for land development and civil infrastructure projects. With a strong portfolio of award-winning projects in hand across South East QLD, our team continues to grow and we’re seeking a talented civil engineer to join us based out of the Sunshine Coast.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a civil engineer within a consultancy environment with demonstrated knowledge of land development and/or infrastructure projects local to QLD. In addition, you will also have:

Responsibilities

Deliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs within broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopment; Design of major and minor drainage infrastructure with an understanding of hydrological principles with appropriate water management and treatments; Deliver and manage water and sewer designs in accordance with SEQ Water standards; Prepare relevant servicing and development reports; Work closely with the other members of the Urban Development team and sub-consultants; Fostering relationships with current and potential clients building on your existing networks to generate new business

Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering; Valid full drivers license; A thorough understanding of civil design principles pertaining to land development, storm water, civil infrastructure, roads and/or mining/resources; Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and ability to run projects within budget and on time; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Strong organisation and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities
