Collections Intern

Responsibilities

Support the monitoring of daily overdue portfolios and customer payment status; Assist in contacting customers (via phone, email, or written communication) regarding outstanding balances; Prepare and update collections reports, tracking files, and internal dashboards; Ensure data accuracy and completeness in collection systems and customer records; Assist in handling customer repayment requests, restructuring cases, and documentation checks; Monitor and follow up on open cases to ensure timely resolution and escalation when needed; Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Customer Service, Risk, Legal) for effective case management; Support documentation management, archiving, and digitalization of collections files; Contribute to process improvement initiatives in collections efficiency and customer experience; Provide general administrative support to the Collections team

Requirements

University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, IT, or a related field; Basic understanding of financial services, collections, and customer account management; Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyze and organize data; Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal; Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills; Effective communication and customer-oriented approach; Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and develop within a professional environment; Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks; A digital mindset, with curiosity to explore innovative tools and AI-driven solutions
