Computer Field Technician

This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position, you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.

Responsibilities

Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units; Confirm service times with customers in the tech portal; Complete services at customer sites (residential and commercial); Visit multiple work sites throughout the day; Pick up parts daily from the assigned FedEx or UPS store before going onsite; Drop off old parts using the provided pre-paid label after completing calls; Code calls and map out daily route in the tech portal; Complete Dell and Lenovo certifications during onboarding

Requirements

Prior hands-on experience with laptop and desktop hardware; Prior hands-on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops; Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; Comfortable with daily local travel; Access to a computer and the Internet; Available to log into tech portal by 9 am on each working morning; Regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays
