Content Writer, Global

Adyen is looking for a structured, proactive and collaborative content writer. This role will work from our Amsterdam office and report directly to our Global Content Lead. The content writer role is focused on producing content to meet Adyen's business and marketing objectives, in line with brand goals.

Responsibilities

Drive the production and maintenance of any asset by following established processes, formats, guidelines and templates, minimizing the need for reviews and iterations; Demonstrate a strong grasp of long-form, short-form and SEO writing in the B2B space; Be on-the-ground for case studies and shoots that involve content creation; Align content initiatives with commercial goals and the larger content strategy; Lead on delivery of content initiatives, partnering with internal and external stakeholders and design partners from kickoff to delivery; Research and curate background information, data, audience insights, and newsworthy information; Conduct interviews with internal and external stakeholders to inform content; Set clear goals and analyze the impact of content, applying insights and digital marketing best practices; Create and update writing templates and guidelines that can be used across studios

Requirements

4 - 6 years of professional experience writing commercial content in the B2B space; Storyteller: curious and keen to discern the motivations, behaviors, and preferences of audiences; Ability to drive differentiation through thought leadership and data-driven storytelling; Impeccable eye for detail and a journalistic attitude to find the angles and stories that matter; Good understanding of writing for digital channels, blending user experience and channel best practices within content marketing; Ability to self-start, stick to deadlines, and drive projects forward while being open to iteration and feedback; Full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English
