Responsibilities

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.; This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.; Key Responsibilities Include:; Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.; Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.; Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.; Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.; Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.; Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations. Shift Details (subject to change):; Brekafast Shifts; Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday; No split shifts required; Immediate start available. Benefits:; Two consecutive days off each week; Overtime and penalty rates; Staff meals during shifts; Uniforms provided; Free onsite parking Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):; Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour; Saturday: $41.96 per hour; Sunday: $48.95 per hour

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:; Minimum 12 months experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.; Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.; Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.; Positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.; Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
