Coordinator Emergency Transport - LifeFlight Dispatch

This position is part of union SEIU - E. There are (2) positions available. Coordinates communications from LifeFlight, Air Medical Programs, EMS providers and referral agencies to appropriate areas within AHN.

Responsibilities

Coordinates flight requests and critical care ground transports; provides flight following for aviation vendor; Enters data for all activities performed within the communication center; Registers for LifeFlight transports and places charges in EPIC for flights and ground transports; Completes all appropriate documentation for patient care record in EMS charts; Provides primary support for One-Call; Coordinates and dispatches specialty teams within WPAHS facilities; Monitors all incoming traffic to heliport and safety watch; Receives EMS medical command notification and requests by telephone and radio; Provides offload support to flight team; Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

GED/High School diploma; 2 years related experience

EMT with dispatching experience
