Counsel - Litigation & Contracts (temporary position)

Responsibilities

Review, draft, and negotiate agreements for purchasing, sales, finance, and services departments; Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for managing day-to-day legal activities; Support external counsel in litigation matters, including case analysis and strategy development; Conduct legal risk assessments and prepare detailed litigation reports; Perform legal research and analysis on contract-related matters and regulatory requirements; Provide legal counsel and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual obligations and compliance issues; Manage contract negotiations and ensure alignment with company objectives and risk mitigation strategies; Maintain organized legal documentation and contract records for easy retrieval and audit purposes; Prepare legal memoranda and opinions on contractual and litigation issues

Requirements

Qualifications:**; Essential Requirements:**; Bachelor's Degree in Law from an accredited institution

Nice to have

Postgraduate qualification in Litigation, Civil Procedural Law, or Contracts; Proficiency in English at intermediate level or above, with demonstrated ability to draft and review complex legal documentation
