You will represent one of the leading brands in the HVAC distribution channel for York Factory Direct promoting York & Hitachi's portfolios to assigned accounts. We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Little Rock, United States. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our valued customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases; Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently; Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area; Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to help customers make informed decisions; Handle credit cards and other payment methods with precision; Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner; Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management; Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive shopping environment; Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations; Assist in warehouse operations for shipping and receiving during high-volume periods

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively; Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing; Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems; Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently; Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; Basic computer skills and attention to detail; Team player with a collaborative mindset; Product knowledge or ability to learn quickly about our product line; Flexibility to assist in warehouse operations when needed; Regular attendance and punctuality

Nice to have

Previous retail or customer service experience; HVAC knowledge; Forklift experience (willingness to become certified, training provided)
