Country Operations Manager - Restaurants

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our premium dining restaurants. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the restaurants operate efficiently, effectively, and to the highest standards of quality and service. The Operations Manager will work closely with senior management, culinary teams, and front-of-house staff to meet business objectives, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and achieve financial targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth restaurant operations; Monitor restaurant performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement; Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal stock levels; Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment for all staff and guests; Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements; Develop annual budgets for the restaurants and monitor performance against targets; Ensure restaurants operate within budget, making appropriate adjustments as necessary; Review and analyze financial statements to identify trends and opportunities for improvement; Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs; Recruit, train, and develop high-performing staff at all levels of the organization; Develop and implement employee engagement and retention programs; Ensure staff are motivated, well-trained, and equipped to deliver exceptional guest experiences; Build and maintain strong relationships with culinary teams, front-of-house staff, and senior management; Ensure all guests receive exceptional service and that restaurants deliver on brand promise; Develop and implement programs to enhance the guest experience; Monitor guest feedback and use insights to inform future initiatives; Identify opportunities to increase customer loyalty and repeat business

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; Minimum 10 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role; Proven track record of success in managing high-end, premium dining restaurants; Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial statements; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities; Strong leadership and staff management skills; Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
