Responsibilities

Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines ensuring the right selection and set up is made regarding crane, lift or hoist; Inspects and assesses ground conditions as well as any possible overhead obstructions; Maintain equipment through daily inspections, to include performance of routine maintenance and minor repairs; Maintain logs and records of operational activities; Maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations, and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly; Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum 3 years experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes; Current TWIC card; Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements; Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime, when necessary; Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials or instructions; Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records; Must have strong ability work well within a team environment; Strong depth perception and quick reaction time; Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move a minimum of 65lbs; Visual capabilities to follow hand signals, maintain all logs and operate machinery; Ability to sit for long periods of time; Ability to work in a variety of weather including extreme heat and cold
