Credit Controller

Citadel Source are pleased to be partnering with a well-known and established business in North Bristol, currently looking to appoint a Credit Controller to join their growing finance team. Joining a collaborative team of four, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous credit control experience who enjoys building relationships, managing their own ledger and playing a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow. This business offers a supportive working environment, excellent benefits and a hybrid working pattern of three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts; Chasing outstanding debt by phone and email; Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers; Resolving invoice and payment queries in a timely manner; Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts; Producing aged debtor reports and escalating overdue accounts where necessary; Working closely with the wider finance and sales teams to resolve disputes; Supporting month-end processes and reporting where required; Identifying opportunities to improve credit control processes

Requirements

Previous experience within a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role; Strong communication and relationship-building skills; Customer-focused approach; Ability to manage your own ledger and prioritise workload effectively; Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel; Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills; A proactive and positive approach to work
