CT Technologist

From complex contrast-enhanced studies to 3D renderings and cardiac protocols, this role ensures every exam meets the highest clinical standards.

Responsibilities

Producing high-quality CT images with precision, compassion, and confidence; Keeping patients at the center of every exam; Performing high-quality CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols; Producing diagnostic-grade images; Applying ALARA radiation safety principles and maintaining clean, complete, real-time documentation; Managing own workflow, keeping room ready, and troubleshooting equipment on GE, Siemens, or Philips platforms; Ensuring proper patient identification, review of medical history, procedure explanation, comfort and safety; Responding swiftly to contrast reactions and maintaining infection control standards; Mentoring students and modeling best practices

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R) + Computed Tomography (CT); Valid state licensure current (where required); CPR/BLS certified and current; Expert knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, imaging techniques, and contrast administration; Proficiency on GE, Siemens, or Philips CT platforms; Fluency in PACS, RIS, and digital image processing; Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles; Ability to lift/assist patients and thrive in a physically active environment; Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and teammates; Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision; Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice to have

1+ year of CT experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
