Customer Relations Co-worker

As a Customer Relations Co-Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring that every customer has an enjoyable and seamless shopping experience. At IKEA it’s all about our customers, and in Customer Relations we build and retain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers in a multichannel retail environment.

Responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service: Be helpful, friendly, and solution-oriented when interacting with customers; Handling complaints and inquiries: Listen actively to customers, resolve their concerns efficiently, and escalate issues when necessary; Optimizing the shopping experience: Ensure your workspace is well-equipped, organized, and efficient at all times; Processing payments: Handle transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring a positive checkout experience; Assisting with product assembly & exchanges: Help customers with assembly concerns and exchange components when needed; Supporting store goals: Understand and contribute to the store’s commercial action plan to maximize sales and profitability; Ensuring store safety & compliance: Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues; Promoting IKEA values: Uphold and reflect IKEA’s values in all customer interactions.

Requirements

Experience in customer service and retail environment; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers; Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently; Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Passion for home furnishing and an understanding of customers’ everyday life at home.
