Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes throughout Jerseyville and surrounding areas; Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service to all customers; Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions; Provide friendly, professional customer service and represent the company with a positive attitude; Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly; Handle cash and card transactions accurately and securely; Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns; Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle; Organize and load delivery items in the vehicle in a logical and secure manner; Respond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license; Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards; Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed; Physical capability to lift, carry, and deliver items safely; Proficiency with GPS navigation and route planning tools; Reliable transportation and consistent attendance; Positive attitude, resilience, and goal-oriented mindset; Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence; Preferred: Familiarity with the local Jerseyville area and surrounding neighborhoods; Must pass a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
