Design Center Manager

For our newly established design center located in Budapest, we are looking for an ambitious, experienced and committed: Design Center Manager

Responsibilities

Planning and preparing interior designs and furnishing layouts; Assisting customers—both by appointment and on a walk-in basis—with their selections, utilizing suggestive selling techniques; Communicating with other departments, external companies, partners, and industry professionals regarding projects; Continuously improving sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional brand image; Specification management; Collaborating with other branch staff to ensure excellent customer service—from the initial project or concept through to delivery and beyond—and supporting other marketing activities; Actively participating in the organization of events and other promotional activities (including the Design Center grand opening event); Managing overall workflow organization and planning; Leading and supervising staff at the Budapest Design Center; Reporting

Requirements

Finished university / college studies, preferably in architecture or interior design; Marketing experience is an advantage; 5-10 years experience in similar field; Fluent Hungarian AND English, another European language knowledge is an asset; Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Professional attitude with a persuasive, kind and positive personality; Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 3D, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and V-Ray 3.6 for SketchUp; During the training phase extensive travel required before the Design Center opening (3-4 months product training in Szombathely / Mohács, and in other European sites and Design Centers); Capability of working independently, high tolerance of stress level; Highly self-motivated personality with a can-do attitude; Efficiency at work, problem solving skills
