Engagement Operations Specialist

The Supply Engagement team owns how Preply changes tutor behaviour at scale, through three channels: communications, community, and academy. The role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Engagement and is part of a team of six. Every project exists to make tutors happier, help them succeed, or surface what they're telling us so Preply can improve its product, programs, and policy.

Responsibilities

Own the operational part of all tutor-facing programs and projects end to end, such as running the annual tutor conference and the team's webinar series (sourcing speakers, coordinating logistics, tracking results); Drive new engagement projects end to end, from ideation to delivery; Own the operational side of community activities such as contests, awards, and story collections; Support Academy's LMS migration by coordinating the content shift, reviewing content, and building an AI workflow to speed it up; Run focus groups, light research and data analysis to improve tutor experience across channels and Preply; Set up a reporting cadence that tracks how programs are performing

Requirements

Hands-on experience planning and running complex events or programs that reached thousands of people, inside a team with real stakeholders and dependencies; Experience planning, running, and landing complex programs (5+ years is a reference point); Comfortable executing someone else's plan with precision and taking full ownership of a project with no plan yet; Ability to build working trust with a new team fast, without formal authority; Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, internal teams and external partners; Analytical skills to pull insight from research and focus groups and measure program results with data; Strong written and spoken communication skills, with sharp judgment on tone; Ability to build AI systems and workflows that replace repetitive manual work

Nice to have

Strong user empathy, understanding how programs affect a tutor's ability to earn and feel supported; Familiarity with a learning management system such as Docebo, 360Learning, or Thinkific; Experience in professional development or marketplace environments; Experience in content creation, including learning content, and content ops
