Engineer 2 - Avionics Software Engineer

A. Main responsibilities

The jobholder will be responsible for design & development, verification & validation of Safety critical Real time Embedded software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standards.

The jobholder will be responsible for software development activities (from Specification to Verification of software) including:

Experience in full software lifecycle encompassing Software requirements Definition, Dynamic & Static Design, Coding and verification activities in industrialized domains.

Responsibilities

Creation of software requirements; Design and implementation of software modules; Unit level verification of software modules; Integration of software modules; Integration testing (software – software & software – Hardware); Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usage; Verification & Validation of software modules

Requirements

Hands on experience on; Embedded software requirements engineering and Architecture (Static and Dynamic); Design and development (module level design, interfaces, algorithm); Embedded Programming; Unit and integration testing (host & target environment); Software configuration management; Knowledge about standards (requirements / design / coding); Knowledge about RTOS; Strong inter personnel skills

Nice to have

Work experience on DO 178 standard; Project Management skills; Knowledge about avionics systems and network
