Enterprise Senior Physician Recruiter - Emergency Medicine

Serves as a resource for and coordinates complex recruitment initiatives and strategies. Sources and recruits qualified physician candidates system-wide and is accountable for the development of recruitment plans that align recruiting efforts with the organization's strategies and goals. This role will be assigned to Emergency Medicine recruitment. This is primarily a remote position; however, the individual must be available to attend on-site and in-person recruitment events and meetings, including approximately three weeks of travel during both the spring and fall seasons across North Carolina and South Carolina.

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource for and coordinates complex recruitment initiatives and strategies; Sources and recruits qualified physician candidates system-wide; Is accountable for the development of recruitment plans that align recruiting efforts with the organization's strategies and goals; Identifies and sources targeted physicians using a variety of recruitment methods including web advertising, mining websites, email blasts, social media, journal ads, direct mail, telemarketing, networking, referral programs, phone interviews, conference attendance, and search firms; Develops and implements complex recruitment plans; Screens potential candidates assessing their background and training for compatibility and fit; Actively leads special recruitment projects, initiatives, or work teams and drives process improvements for the department; Establishes regular communications with key site partners and ensures timely feedback between the team and candidates; Builds long-term relationships with candidates and uses the team's Customer Relationship Management tool to build candidate pipelines; Uses technical recruitment expertise to educate, consult and collaborate with physician and administrative leadership on recruitment process, compensation and benefits, immigration needs and employment law; Collaborates with local administration to develop and maintain practice descriptions; Provides guidance to others in the department and participates in orientating newly hired recruiters; Serves as a resource in evaluating unique or challenging recruitment issues

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field; Typically requires 5 years of experience in physician recruitment or executive recruitment; Advanced knowledge and skills in developing and implementing complex recruiting strategies and successfully sourcing targeted candidates; Skills in the use of web advertising, mining websites, email blasts, social media, journal ads, direct mail, telemarketing, networking, referral programs, phone interviews, conference attendance, and search firms; In depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws impacting the recruitment function, human resources, and the overall implications to the organization; Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; Skills and experience in effectively building relationships and consulting with physicians and leadership; Excellent negotiation, organization, and prioritization skills; Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office or similar products; Skilled in the utilization and knowledge of web based recruiting; Skills in evaluating, addressing and providing resolution to complex recruitment issues and challenges; Skills in serving as resource and providing guidance to others in the department on recruitment and sourcing strategies
