Enterprise Technology Operations Intern

The Enterprise Technology Operations Intern will support enterprise infrastructure, endpoint management, cloud services, identity management, and operational technology initiatives across Crest. Unlike traditional help desk internships, this role provides exposure to enterprise-scale technology operations, systems administration, cloud platforms, networking, endpoint management, and infrastructure modernization initiatives supporting a multi-company manufacturing organization. This position is ideal for students interested in Systems Administration, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Network Engineering, IT Operations, Platform Engineering, and Enterprise Technology Management. Technologies exposure includes Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware, Intune, PowerShell, SharePoint, Networking Infrastructure, and Endpoint Management Platforms. What students will learn: Enterprise systems administration; Cloud operations; Infrastructure management; Identity and access management; Automation and scripting; Endpoint lifecycle management; IT service operations; Enterprise technology governance.

Responsibilities

Assist with endpoint deployment and lifecycle management; Support Active Directory and identity administration activities; Participate in infrastructure projects and system upgrades; Assist with cloud administration and migration efforts; Support endpoint security and compliance initiatives; Develop operational dashboards and reporting; Assist with asset management and configuration management; Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities; Support automation initiatives using PowerShell and Power Platform; Document technical procedures and operational standards

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, CIS, or related field; Understanding of operating systems and networking fundamentals; Interest in infrastructure and cloud technologies; Strong troubleshooting abilities; Desire to learn enterprise technology operations
