Facility Technician

The Facility Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and appearance of Class A, a multi-building corporate office campus located in El Segundo, California. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, clean, efficient, and professional environment for tenants, visitors, and campus employees.

Shift : 7am to 4pm Monday - Friday

Payrate: $ 27.81 hourly rate | Weekly pay

Location : El Segundo, Ca

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections of campus buildings, common areas, mechanical rooms, restrooms, parking structures, and exterior grounds.; Execute preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules.; Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs involving lighting, plumbing fixtures, doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, furniture, and building finishes.; Replace lamps, ballasts, lighting controls, and related components.; Monitor the condition and operation of HVAC equipment and report deficiencies to building engineering staff.; Assist with basic maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.; Ensure building systems operate efficiently and support tenant comfort.; Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.; Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and property operating procedures.; Follow all lockout/tagout and life-safety procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.; Minimum of 2 years of facility maintenance, building operations, hospitality facilities, or commercial property experience.; Experience working in commercial office buildings, campus environments, or corporate facilities preferred.; Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.; Strong customer service and communication skills.; Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.; Proficiency with computers, mobile work-order systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
