Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites; Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, escalating complex problems as needed; Follows standard operating procedures and safety guidelines and established procedures to complete assigned work; Maintains accurate records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions; Communicates with customers to provide updates and technical support during service visits; Maintains tools, equipment, and assigned company assets; Participates in training to enhance technical skills and product knowledge; Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements; Maintains a high level of professionalism with internal and external customers; Assists in commissioning and testing of new equipment installations; Assists with inventory management and preparation of service materials; Collaborates with other technicians and engineers to resolve service issues; Supports continuous improvement efforts in field service operations

Requirements

Has working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical, scientific, or operational processes; Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within their area of expertise; Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods; Works with a moderate degree of supervision
