Finance & Controlling Systems Specialist – Project & Run (SAP Expert) (f/m)

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Finance & Controlling Systems Specialist – Project & Run (SAP Expert) (f/m) to join our Finance Transformation Department based in Marignane, France. In this dual role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions. Your mission will be two-fold: leading key Project initiatives (Build) to optimize Accounting & Controlling processes, and driving the day-to-day operational support (Run) to ensure system stability, continuous improvement, and high user adoption.

Responsibilities

Lead and monitor end-to-end IT/Finance project schedules; Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for Accounting & Controlling modules; Drive testing and deployment phases; Design and deliver training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions; Serve as the key point of contact for live Accounting & Controlling systems; Monitor, analyze, and resolve functional incidents and user requests; Drive continuous improvement by identifying system bottlenecks and proposing optimizations; Maintain up-to-date functional documentation and knowledge bases

Requirements

SAP Expertise (Mandatory): Strong hands-on experience with SAP Finance and Controlling modules (FI/CO); Proven experience combining IT/Finance Project Management with operational application support (Run/BAU mode); Solid understanding of core Accounting and Financial Controlling processes; Highly organized, adaptable, and resilient; Analytical mindset with sharp eye for detail; Strong problem-solving orientation; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to interact effectively with technical teams and finance executives; Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset; English: Fluent (written and spoken); French: Native

Nice to have

Experience with S/4HANA; PMI, Prince2, or Agile certifications
