Requirements

At least 1 year (for junior level), 3 years (for mid level), or 6 years (for senior level) of experience as Firewall / Senior Network Security Engineer; Proven ability to write and maintain complex firewall security rules and policies across traditional firewall environments, ensuring alignment with organizational security standards; Strong expertise in Palo Alto, Fortinet; Skilled in conducting diagnostics to identify root causes of network malfunctions and traffic flow blockages, with a structured approach to problem resolution; Ability to define, implement, and continuously improve security policy best practices across network security infrastructure; Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide expert guidance, training, and cross-domain collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders; Fluency in English plus French or Portuguese (B2); Availability for Hybrid work model 2 x week in Lisboa; Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
