Responsibilities

What You’ll Do; Machine Operation & Setup: Prepare cylinders, mount plates, adjust ink fountains/rollers, and perform precise setups for high-quality production runs.; Quality Assurance: Interpret order specifications and use overlay gauges or shop scales to maintain close tolerances and strict quality standards.; Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Investigate equipment abnormalities down to the root cause and perform proactive preventative maintenance.; Safety & SOP Adherence: Consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ISO 9001 work instructions, and safety guidelines.; Teamwork & Data Entry: Partner across departments to achieve site goals and accurately report finished production in plant software.

Requirements

What You’ll Need; High school diploma or equivalent.; 2+ years of printing press operation experience (flexographic machinery preferred).; Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a root-cause troubleshooting mindset.; Basic math skills and comfort learning PC software for production reporting.; Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift up to 40 lbs., and maneuver materials using plant lift aids or hand trucks.
