Food & Beverage Director | Opening Mama Shelter Amsterdam (M/F/NB)

Would you like to join us and contribute to the opening of our Mama Shelter in Amsterdam? You are the director of the catering department (restaurant, bar and work/event spaces).

Responsibilities

Develop the profitability of each outlet (4 F&B outlets: main restaurant and its bar, terrace and rooftop bar); Participate in menu engineering with the Executive Chef and set menu prices; Recruit, supervise, direct and coordinate all restaurant staff; Ensure compliance with the law; Guarantee an excellent customer experience; Direct the catering department (restaurant, bar and work/event spaces)

Requirements

Natural and effective leadership; Ability to identify and develop talent; Excellent management skills, including cost control, analysis of figures and productivity optimization; Sales skills; Ability to present results using PowerPoint presentations and Excel tables; Ability to deliver the Mama experience to suppliers and service providers and build strong relationships; Hands-on, team-oriented approach that leads by example
