Rate of Pay: €16.50 per hour

Working Pattern: 16:45 - 22:45 | Monday to Thursday | Full-time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to join our team in Castletroy Limerick, Ireland. As a vital member of our food service operations, you will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients; Serve meals and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner; Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning; Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment; Restock serving lines, condiment stations, and dining areas as needed; Assist with inventory management and storage of food items and supplies; Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service; Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns; Participate in cleaning and organizing kitchen and dining areas; Assist with special events and catering services as required

Requirements

Food handling experience; Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred; Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices; Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work schedules; Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management; Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment; Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
