Food Service Associate (Production)

The Food Service Associate (Production) assists with tray line assembly, cold production, plating food items and dish room activities in assigned area(s). This position is ECB status and requires a minimum number of worked hours per month as needed by the department. Nutrition & Food Services Patient Meals - Muskogee Campus. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA).

Responsibilities

Assist with tray line assembly, cold production, plating food items and dish room activities in assigned area(s); Follow and ensure departmental standards of safety and sanitation; Keep the work area clean and participate in cleaning duties to meet required sanitation standards; Adhere to department policy and wear designated uniform; Demonstrate good personal hygiene and accept direction; Follow safety practices, cost awareness, schedule and assigned break periods; Work directly with patients and/or customers; Work with internal customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction

Requirements

Valid Oklahoma Food Handler's permit; Effective interpersonal communication skills; Ability to accept direction and supervision

Nice to have

High School Diploma or GED; Minimum 6 months of related experience
