Front End Developer

Fidelity Brokerage is seeking a Front End Software Engineer to Experience Engineering. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting business-critical applications and services within a product delivery team. You will be part of the Experience Engineering team within Fidelity Brokerage. As a Front End Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of product capabilities while contributing to technical discussions, solution design, and engineering improvements across the team.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and support business-critical applications and services within a product delivery team; Contribute to technical design discussions and solution development; Deliver high-quality software aligned with architecture and engineering standards; Participate in code reviews and promote best practices; Support quality through automated testing and proactive defect prevention; Participate in production support, issue investigation, and root cause analysis; Work closely with Product Managers, Product Analysts, System Analysts, and Quality Engineers; Contribute technical input during planning and estimation; Communicate progress, risks, and technical considerations effectively; Support delivery commitments while maintaining engineering quality standards; Support and mentor less experienced engineers; Share knowledge and contribute to continuous learning; Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to improve productivity and quality; Deliver high-quality software that meets business and customer needs; Demonstrate ownership of features and technical solutions; Improve reliability, maintainability, and testability; Support predictable and sustainable delivery outcomes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline; 2+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications; Strong experience developing modern web applications and services; Experience contributing to the delivery of complex software solutions in large-scale environments; Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, Signals, and modern front-end engineering practices; Experience working within Nx/monorepo environments; Experience integrating with REST APIs and API-driven architectures; Experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS, observability, and production support
