Fund Accountant

Are you a qualified accountant with experience in fund accounting and a keen eye for detail?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fund Accountant to join our growing Fund Services team. Working closely with the Fund Accounting Manager and Senior Fund Accountants, you'll provide accounting and reporting services to a diverse portfolio of fund clients investing across private equity, real estate and private debt.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records within fund accounting systems, including Viewpoint and Private Capital Suite (Investran); Accurately record and reconcile complex fund transactions, ensuring a thorough understanding of underlying activity; Assist with the preparation of financial statements and periodic client reporting, including capital account statements and net asset valuations; Support the delivery of monthly, quarterly and bi-annual reporting requirements, ensuring quality and timeliness; Assist with client audits and liaise effectively with auditors to meet agreed deadlines; Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to manage priorities and ensure service delivery expectations are met; Contribute to a consistent and integrated Fund Services offering across jurisdictions; Maintain compliance with firm policies, procedures and professional standards

Requirements

Qualified accountant or qualified by relevant experience, with sound technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS; Demonstrable experience in a fund accounting environment; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting systems, ideally Private Capital Suite (Investran); Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to agreed deadlines; Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
